Although E.P. Carillo is very young, founded in 2008, its founder Perez-Carrillo has already become a legend in the industry and is even honored as the "Father of Fine Cigars." The founder was born in Cuba and once owned his own brand and factory there. Later, due to the revolution, he immigrated to the United States and re-established the prestigious cigar brand La gloria Cubana until it was acquired in 1999. With the expectation of his children, Perez-Carrillo developed a new formula again in 2009 and founded a new brand, E.P. Carrillo.
